Born in Los Angeles and raised in Miami, Dr. Amador is a passionate dentist specializing in general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. He first completed five years of dental school in Ecuador, where he received his DDS degree. When he moved back to the US, he attended dental school for a second time at Nova Southeastern University and received his DMD degree.

After school, Dr. Amador taught dental students as an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University. Teaching became one of his great passions during this time, and he carries over this experience by educating his patients on their oral health. He later completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Florida and a General Practice Residency in Ohio, sharpening his skills in advanced and complex cases.

In his desire to learn more about dental implants, he completed an internship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Dr. Amador has diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, recognizing his extensive training in implantology. Dr. Amador’s robust educational background and experience have provided him with an exceptional foundation on which to practice dentistry.

Dr. Amador’s mission is to save and heal as many teeth as he can in order to maintain his patients’ masticatory system and improve their quality of life. Whether he is mitigating pain or giving someone more confidence by enhancing their smile, he considers himself blessed to have the opportunity to practice dentistry as a living.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. Woowon Choi, DMD, is a general dentist with a background in public health dentistry and is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care. Before Dr. Choi pursued dental school, he gained valuable experience in healthcare and education as a pharmacy technician, organic chemistry teaching assistant, and personal training intern. He earned both his Bachelor of Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr.Choi began his dental career as a float dentist across multiple community health centers before becoming a solo provider at the Leesburg Community Health Center. During his time at the Health Center, he provided comprehensive dental care to diverse, underserved patient populations. His experience in FQHC and public health dentistry shaped his service-oriented approach focused on meeting patients where they are clinically, financially, and emotionally to create a meaningful impact. Dr Choi enjoys practicing general, cosmetic, restorative, implant, and pediatric dentistry. His philosophy of care is centered around trust, responsibility, integrity, and transparency. He emphasizes clear, open communication to ensure patients fully understand their treatment options and to support long-term oral health outcomes rather than short-term solutions.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Choi continually refines his approach through evidence-based care, new technologies, and continuing education. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Student National Dental Association (SNDA), and participates in continuing education through Ripe Global and Protrusive Dental.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choi enjoys staying active through basketball, strength training, hiking, traveling, and unplugging on cabin weekends. At home, Dr. Choi enjoys exploring different types of coffee, spending time with his dog, and relaxing to a good movie or TV series.

With a strong interest in education and mentorship, Dr. Choi hopes to support future dentists and, in the long term, partner with community organizations to help expand access to care in the surrounding communities, including through dental mission work.
